3. Booking and Appointments

3.1 Booking Process

You may book our services through our website, by phone, or via email. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by ShinyHome Service.

3.2 Booking Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when making a booking. This includes your name, address, contact information, service requirements, and any special instructions.

3.3 Confirmation

A booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation from us, either by email or phone. We will provide details of the scheduled service, including date, time, estimated duration, and price.

3.4 Rescheduling and Cancellations

If you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations (less than 48 hours before the scheduled service) may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost. No-shows or cancellations on the day of service may be charged the full service fee.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, adverse weather conditions, or any other event that may impact our ability to provide services. We will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible and reschedule your service at a convenient time.

4. Service Delivery

4.1 Access to Premises

You are responsible for ensuring our cleaning team has access to your property at the scheduled time. This may involve being present to let us in, arranging for a trusted person to provide access, or leaving a key in a secure, pre-arranged location.

4.2 Preparation

To allow our team to work efficiently, we recommend that you:

  • Clear away any valuable or fragile items
  • Secure pets in a safe area
  • Remove excessive clutter from areas to be cleaned
  • Inform us of any special requirements or areas to focus on

4.3 Service Limitations

Our cleaning services do not include:

  • Moving heavy furniture or appliances
  • Cleaning areas that require specialized equipment or training (e.g., exterior windows above ground floor, roof cleaning)
  • Handling hazardous materials or waste
  • Cleaning excessively soiled areas that would require industrial cleaning methods

Additional fees may apply for services beyond our standard offerings.

4.4 Service Completion

Upon completion of the cleaning service, we recommend that you inspect the work performed. If you identify any areas that require additional attention, please notify us immediately or within 24 hours of service completion.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Service Rates

Our service rates are based on property size, condition, service type, and specific requirements. We will provide a clear price quote before confirming your booking.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash. Payment details will be specified during the booking process.

5.3 Payment Timing

For one-time services, payment is due at the time of service completion. For regular recurring services, payment arrangements will be specified in your service agreement.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive to deliver exceptional cleaning services and your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with any area we've cleaned, simply notify us within 24 hours of your service, and we'll return to reclean that area at no additional cost.

7. Damage and Liability

7.1 Reporting Damage

In the rare event that damage occurs during the cleaning process, you must report it to us within 24 hours of service completion. We will investigate all damage claims promptly.

7.2 Our Liability

ShinyHome Service carries comprehensive insurance to cover potential damages caused directly by our cleaning personnel during service delivery. However, we are not liable for:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Pre-existing damage or conditions
  • Damage resulting from faulty fixtures or appliances
  • Items that have been improperly mounted or installed
  • Damage that occurs after our team has left the premises

7.3 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any damages will not exceed the amount paid for the specific cleaning service during which the damage occurred. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7.4 Valuable Items

We recommend that you secure valuable items before our cleaning team arrives. While our staff is thoroughly vetted, we cannot accept responsibility for items that are reported missing after our service unless there is clear evidence of theft by our personnel.

8. Health and Safety

8.1 Safe Working Environment

You are responsible for ensuring that your premises provide a safe working environment for our cleaning personnel. This includes addressing any hazards or unsafe conditions before our arrival.

8.2 Equipment and Supplies

Our team brings professional cleaning equipment and supplies. If you have specific product preferences or allergies, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

9. Communication and Privacy

9.1 Contact Information

You agree to provide accurate contact information and to update us if this information changes. We will use this information to communicate with you about your services.

9.2 Privacy

We respect your privacy and will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our cleaning staff is trained to respect your privacy and confidentiality while in your home.

10. Termination of Services

10.1 By You

For recurring services, you may terminate our agreement by providing at least 7 days' written notice before your next scheduled service.

10.2 By Us

We reserve the right to terminate services at our discretion, particularly in cases of:

  • Repeated late or missed payments
  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Abusive behavior toward our staff
  • Unreasonable demands outside the scope of our services

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of ShinyHome Service and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any portion of our website without prior written consent.
